How infrastructure planning works
Each corridor and facility is planned through the department's Strategic Planning Schemes, assessed against published merit criteria, and delivered in partnership with system governments and regional colony authorities. Projects are prioritised by community benefit, transport-safety outcomes and readiness to commence.
