Overview
The Connected Colonies Program invests in the infrastructure that helps emerging settlements grow into thriving communities: transport links, utilities, communications relays and community facilities. It is delivered in partnership with system governments and regional colony authorities, prioritising projects with strong community benefit and clear deliverability.
Since its first round, the program has supported infrastructure across more than 60 frontier settlements across the Frontier Territories.
Who can apply
Applications are open to:
- Colony authorities and settlement councils in designated frontier regions
- System and regional transport authorities
- Eligible incorporated bodies delivering colony infrastructure
